                  Prologue
We can breathe a sigh of relief. They have repaired. Reconstructed. We have not slept for months, fearing whether one bad guy would manage to replace another. We have forgotten how far Kosovo has traveled released down the sugar water of the protectorate. As well as unknown airplanes releasing chemical loads over us. We have not paid for our summer vacation and have not brought the medicine to our aunt. The city has beaten us on the promenade. We did not even let you know which politician would certainly be arrested by the next elections, instead of the tycoon released to supervised freedom.
But we got startled at the last moment and prepared the new edition. In it we tried to show that life is not only another bad party. Welcome inside. <

  Laughter on Many Waters
In this period of history, not having access to the sea, Serbia approaches its water in a more witty, creative and interesting way than many coastal countries. From bathing in snow to skiing in water, it offers numerous surprises and joys. We know about its rivers, lakes, spa resorts, waterfalls and rapids, we know about the unparalleled skill to find joy in all this. In addition to this, aqua parks have been springing up all over, all-day-long exciting playgrounds on water

A LITTLE EXPEDITION OF ”NATIONAL REVIEW” IN THE CAVES OF FRUŠKA GORA
Deep in the Heart of the Mountain
We knew that the number of seven caves which have been discovered to date is not final. And that one is situated above Staro Hopovo, the second above Rekovac, the third on the Popovica, and below Popov čot, then near the Šakotinac Waterfall, two near Ležimir... But we didn’t know what exactly was waiting for us inside and how much courage we should pack in our bags. Experienced alpinists and speleologists from the Society ”Železničar” from Novi Sad knew everything, even this

IN MOKRIN, AN UNUSUAL VILLAGE IN THE NORTH BANAT
Until the Russians Figure It Out
This is the birth place of Vasa Stajić and Mika Antić, Raša Popov and Bogdan Ibrajter, and Aleksandar Deroko used to brag that one of his grandmothers was from Mokrin. Mokrin wine and layered cheese are famous. Victory at one of the two local world championships, in fight of un-doped geese and championship in Easter egg tapping, enables you to treat and boas yourself all year long. Jokes are always welcome, especially if they are directed at people from Kikinda. In the territory of Mokrin there are 200 oil wells, and we hope that the new owners of NIS would look at this direction as well, it would only be right

LISA BROWN, SERBIAN ENGLISHWOMAN, TEACHES US HOW TO REMEMBER OURSELVES
  Two Homelands, One Hope
She raised a Vojvodina-style house in Krčedin and produces healthy food, she renewed the Rajačke pimnice near Negotin and makes wine there, she’s making a therapeutic ethno-village on Jelica. She, manager of ”English Book”, born in Serbia. She wants Serbian villages to become again full of people and tidy, with gardens and fields without chemistry, because that’s the strength and real opportunity of this country. She wants to show foreigners things which they can find only here

MOTOCROSS DRIVER GABOR SAGMAJSTER, REPRESENTATIVE OF SERBIA AT ”DAKAR RALLY”
  Ultimate Limits Are Within Us
Moving one’s own limits means increasing the area of freedom. The Rally isn’t driven through the sand ocean, but through one’s own self. There are no co-drivers, no navigators. Only the endless desert around. You must decide and believe in your decision. The race lasts two weeks, one sleeps three to four hours and drives about 800 kilometers a day, in temperatures ranging from minus 8 to plus 45, at altitudes of about 5.000 meters. One learns a lot about oneself, the world and life

  Iron Age Princess’ Tomb
The tomb is from the late VI century B.C. The discovered objects and jewelry, especially those made of precious metals, glass and amber, indicate a female of high rank, perhaps belonging to the Illyrian tribe of Autariat. The entire discovery is kept in the National Museum in Belgrade

MILAN BUDIMIR (1891-1975), FAMOUS SCIENTIST AND TRADITIONAL TEACHER
The Deepest Heartbeats of the Balkans
He went a long way from Mrkonjić Grad to resolving the most delicate pre-Antique mysteries of the Peninsula. He earned his doctorate degree in Vienna in Indo-European religion. He knew Andrić and Kočić, taught Gavrilo Princip, traveled with Nušić to Masarik’s birthday. Although he went blind before the age of 30, he set the foundations of Serbian Balkan Sciences and fortified classic philology. He despised ”any kind of mad running after Europe” and called upon the ”resurrection of the Balkan spirit and Balkan Homeland”

Under the Shadow of Lost Paradises
Humans have remained the same through millennia, ascensions and deaths. This can be seen in borderline situations, at final exams. From Scheherazade and Iliad to the very day, there has been no literature without a well told story. Heroes are walking on wires and going down dangerous roads instead of the readers. Don’t have illusions; artists are not the embodiment of the goodness of their art. There is no end to misfortunes, thus we should arm ourselves with patience and faith. Never cry over previous happiness, because paradise is not paradise while we’re living it, but when we lose it

”VIVA VOX”, AN UNUSUAL TROUPE CONQUERING THE WORLD FROM ZEMUN
  Chorus Created By Playing
At the beginning it was only their voice. Former students of the Zemun Gymnasium, members of the school chorus, wanted to continue associating and sharing joy through music. Then their clip on YouTube made a real boom and the ball started rolling. The brilliant performance in the ceremonial hall of the UN General Assembly last winter, when they were excellent ambassadors of Serbia and Serbian culture, made them true, irresistible stars

MILICA MILISAVLJEVIĆ DUGALIĆ, PERFORMER AND GUARDIAN OF SERBIAN MUSICAL HERITAGE OF KOSOVO AND METOHIJA
If Singing Fades, All Will Fade
The great people of traditional Serbian Kosovo and Metohija singing, such as Voja Dimitrijević, Jordan Nikolić or Mara Đorđević, today seem as permanent values. They testify about the taste in music of a time much more authentic than the one we have today. In the present times, we must sing about Kosovo and Metohija, to ourselves and out loud, all the time. If the song continues living within us, all this that’s bothering us, however long it takes, will only be a temporary tempest

THE BALLAD OF VLADA GRK AND THE BEAUTIFUL RUSSIAN GIRL
Life Passes By like a Bad Party
No one knows who brought that boy with a glass eye to the Writers’ Club, to the water trough. Pera the Horse, Aca Sekulić, or someone else? But everyone knows that the apartment of Vlada the Good was the sanctuary of Belgrade homeless writers and painters, especially during long winters and starving years. He left behind a love, a war and a life. Illness caught him suddenly, at a curve, when he didn’t care any more. He departed silently, alone in a crowd, the way he lived

FESTIVAL OF SERBIAN YOUTH CULTURE IN KNJAŽEVAC
  For the Real Values
In times when the man stepped on the Moon for the first time, times of ”The Beatles” and ”Woodstock”, when girls put on mini skirts for the first time, the window into the world of rock-and-roll was Radio Luxemburg, and the first ”Gibson” guitars arrived to towns through relatives from abroad, the Serbian Youth Culture Festival was created in Knjaževac. And it has lasted until today

In the old vineyard settlement, jazz sounded like nowhere else. Girls dressed in ”Gergina” collection, inspired by Vlach motifs, served the best wines. Once again Negotin showed that it has something to offer and that it knows how to do that

It has rich territories, full barns and excellent location: 50 kilometers from Belgrade, 29 from Pančevo, 110 from Novi Sad. The first name of the village, Debelare, comes from the Latin word meaning ”to win”

  Development Planning
The foundation of every country is its space. Developed countries have in their computers their territories in 3D, all data on resources, they know the quality of the soil, water, what segments of the depopulation live where. Decisions must be made on the basis of knowledge, and not improvisation or intuition

EXCEPTIONAL RESULTS OF CHILDREN FROM SRPSKA AT THE INTERNATIONAL OPEN CALL ”SLAVIC LITERACY”
To Think and to Feel in Cyrillic
”In public life in Serbia, the national alphabet is present only in 12 percent of the time! We are going through a real drill of Latinization, which is an intentional strike on deep codes of identity. In the old times, elimination of Cyrillic used to be one of the first measures of the occupying forces, and it seems that today we are completing these occupation tasks ourselves, against ourselves. If we do not want to help ourselves, we have a duty to help our children”, says Milan Milutinović, president of the Association of Slavic Literacy and Protection of Cyrillic Alphabet

In ten days, from Idvor to Norfolk, from pastures to the scientist, from professorship to a patriotic action and benefactions, before us is an abundance of good quality material. Many things will now be available to the public for the first time. It is planned to change the exhibition every three months

IN THE MINING BASIN ”KOLUBARA” EVERYTHING IS READY FOR THE NEW ERA OF DEVELOPMENT
  Two Feats in One Day
Dredge ”Glodar 1”, maybe the biggest device ever created by human hand, was moving at the speed of 400 meters per hour, crossed the Kolubara, and from the mine ”Veliki Crljeni” reached  ”Tamnava – Zapadno polje”, about ten kilometers away, where it will continue the exploitation. And the cemetery in Vreoci, which is lying on top of estimated 55 million tons of coal, has been relocated to the cemetery ”Lazarevac 2” and other 24 locations throughout Serbia and Krajina
